"MANY COLORS OF MUSIC" Our 50-minute school show blends education with entertainment, demonstrating basic vocal concepts like melody, harmony, and roundsong and exploring the range of ways that human beings use music in life: to express emotion, to tell stories, to have fun, to build community, to change the world, and more. Alongside our own tunes, we present classic folk songs like “Down by the Bay” and “Blowin’ in the Wind” accompanied by guitar, piano, ukulele, recorder, violin, trumpet, conga, and cello. The program is designed for a general audience, but we can easily integrate our faith-oriented repertoire if a school requests. Some audience feedback for "Many Colours":
"The performance was excellent! The music was beautiful... They captivated my
students' attention."
"I learned that anybody can play any instrument when they put their mind to it."
"An excellent supplement to the music curriculum, reinforcing many of Alberta
Education's key learning outcomes for music. Highly recommended."
